About US
Started in 1987 at Ramanathapuram what was considered as backward district. Started as Multi Speciality hospital by our founders Dr. E.M.M. Farook and Dr. A.S. Mohamed Kyadudyn.
In early 80's Ramanathapuram District remained the most underdeveloped in both health and education sectors. There was only Government District Headquarters Hospital and a charity hospital. Keeping this situation in mind we came up with an idea of first MULTI-SPECIALITY hospital.
We also aimed to solve the problems in lack of medical personals and improve the access to health care. As such we started Pioneer School of Nursing, Pioneer College of Physiotherapy and Pioneer Ilma School so we aim to vitalize the community through such improvement.
Being a teaching hospital, it gives us one year successful apprenticeship training after three years of Government recognized Nursing course and thereby providing career opprtunities.
